Kelsey G. signed with Wilhelmina Rochester back in August 18, 2010. Since then, she’s made quite an impression with clients and models alike. How many times have you thought…I can be that model in that commercial? But….How do I get there? How do I get that work? A good agency, experience and excellent auditioning/performing skills! That’s how!

Getting a TV Commercial job in the industry is not like interviewing for just another job. Its not just whats on the resume or in your pictures. Yes it helps, but in the case of models working in commercials…its the audition/casting performance that you are able to deliver that counts.

Little or no experience? All told, it comes down to investing time, effort and some reasonable expense into quality career growth. This comes in the form training which leads to experience and so on. So many times, people think that all it takes is just a good look or body. It takes so much more in one of the most competitive industries on the planet. Don’t be fooled thinking it’s a walk in the park. Our models who have gone the extra mile in advancing their careers will tell you that they didn’t realize there was so much to learn about working in front of the camera.
